Product selection, fixings and spans are matched to the site's exposure and wind classification. We'll tell you when a system isn't suited to a position rather than sell it to you anyway.

Wind and structural

Product and fixing selection referenced to the site's wind classification, with structural design actions per AS/NZS 1170.1 and AS/NZS 1170.2. Engineering certification available where a project requires it.

Fire and the NCC

For work above ground floor on Class 2–9 buildings, the NCC's non-combustibility provisions apply. Talk to us early — we'll tell you what evidence is available for the fabrics and framing you're considering, and where a Performance Solution will be needed.

Fabric and finish data

Fabric composition, openness factor, colour range and warranty terms. Powdercoat colour matching to the project's palette, including custom colours on larger runs.

Drawings and documentation

Sections and fixing details for your documentation set, a schedule of openings by dwelling or level, and operation and maintenance information at handover.

Samples

Fabric and colour samples sent out for design and client presentations. Tell us the project and we'll put a set together.

Warranty

Written warranty terms on componentry, fabric and workmanship, supplied with the quote — not after you've signed.

Can you quote from plans before the build starts?

Yes. Send elevations, window schedules or balcony details and we'll price off them. We site measure later to confirm before manufacture, so your budget number and your final number shouldn't move much.

Do you supply only, or install as well?

Either. Plenty of builders have their own crews and just want product delivered to site on the right day. Others want the whole lot handled. Both work.

What about balconies above ground floor?

On Class 2–9 buildings this is governed by the NCC's non-combustibility requirements, and most standard awning fabrics won't satisfy them without a Performance Solution. Bring us in at design stage and we'll tell you what's viable for the building rather than leaving it to be discovered at certification.

How exposed is too exposed?

It depends on the system. Guided zip-track blinds handle far more wind than a straight-drop, and a retractable awning has a lower limit again. Give us the orientation, the height and the surrounds and we'll recommend accordingly.

Can you match colours across stages?

Yes — we hold the specification for your project so stage four looks like stage one. Custom powdercoat colours are available on larger runs.

What do you need from us to quote?

At minimum: the site address, what you're covering, roughly how many openings, and when you need it. Drawings make it faster and more accurate. If you're early and don't have all of that, ask anyway.

Where do you work?

We're based in NSW, and we supply Australia-wide. Installation coverage depends on the location and the size of the job — Sydney metro and regional NSW are home ground. Tell us where the site is and we'll be straight with you about what we can and can't cover.
